Egg Fried Rice

Folks, today I am going to share the most favorite dish of everyone I believe. Egg Fried Rice is the major dish of Chinese Cuisine. It is very simple and easy to cook food dish even kids can make it very easily. I use to cook this rice dish very often. You may use a day old rice (leftover).
Egg Fried Rice


  • Rice  – 2 cups
  • Eggs – 4 large
  • Green Peas – ½ cup
  • Carrots – ½ cup (chopped)
  • Bell Pepper – 1 large (chopped)
  • Green Onion – 3 chopped
  • Black Pepper – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Soya Sauce – 2 tbsp.
  • Cooking Oil – 3 tbsp. (olive/sesame Oil)

Cooking Instructions:

  • Soak rice for 30 minutes and semi boiled in hot water.
  • Strain and set aside.
  • Crack eggs and beat well.
  • Heat the wok, add 1 tbsp. of oil along with beaten eggs, and scramble them for a minute or two.
  • Dish out in a plate.
  • In the same wok, add the remaining oil and all vegetables. Sauté well.

  • Now add boiled rice, scrambled eggs, black pepper, and soya sauce in a wok and stir well.
  • Cook them for few minutes.
  • Your Egg Fried Rice is ready to serve with any gravy dish of your choice.
