Quick Dinner Recipes Indian Vegetarian

Friends, today I am going to share some quick dinner recipes Indian vegetarian. Vegetarian Indian food dishes recipes are quick, easy and simple to make. Do cook them and let us know your experience.

Spicy Mixed Dal


Ingredients:
  • Yellow Moong Dal – 1 tbsp.
  • Masoor Dal – 1 tbsp.
  • Chana Dal – 1 tbsp.
  • Urad Dal – 1 tbsp.
  • Arhar Dal – 1 tbsp.
  • Onion – 1 chopped
  • Ginger Garlic – 1 tbsp.
  • Yogurt – ½ cup
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Cooking Oil – ¼ cup
  • Tomato – 2 large
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp.
  • Garam Masala Powder – ½ tsp.
  • Coriander Powder – ½ tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp.
  • Butter – 2 tbsp.
  • Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp.
  • Green Chili – 2

Cooking Instructions:
  • Wash, soak all dals for 45 minutes and drain
  • In a pressure cooker, add dals, 2 cups of water, turmeric and salt
  • Cook it for 3 whistles
  • Heat oil in a pot, fry cumin seeds then saute onion, add ginger garlic paste
  • Add tomatoes, green chilies, red chili powder, salt, coriander powder and fry for 2-3 minutes
  • Add yogurt, butter and garam masala, fry well for a while
  • Now add pressure-cooked dals
  • Cover it with lid and cook for 5-7 minutes on a slow flame
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves and green chilis on top
  • Spicy Mixed Dal is ready to serve with rice, achar and salad




Darbari Aalo Matar Sabzi




Ingredients:
  • Potatoes – 1 cup (boiled)
  • Green Peas – ½ cup (boiled)
  • Cooking Oil – ¼ cup
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Onion – 1 chopped
  • Ginger Garlic – 1 tbsp.
  • Sesame Seeds – 2 tbsp.
  • Garam Masala – ½ tsp.
  • Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp.
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Tomato – 3 large (finely chopped)
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp.
  • Green Chili – 2
  • Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp.

Cooking Instructions:
  • Dry roasted sesame seeds and set aside
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry onion, ginger garlic paste and cumin seeds until light brown
  • Add tomatoes, green chilies, red chili powder, salt and turmeric
  • Fry well until oil gets separate from gravy
  • Add boiled potatoes and green peas, fry well
  • Add curd, sesame seeds, garam masala and let it cook for 5-7 minutes on a medium flame
  • Darbari Aalo Matar Sabzi is ready to serve with roti and fresh salad
